Trash & Recycling
There is a free Watertown Recycling Event for all Watertown Residents, on Saturday, June 4, 2022 from 10 AM – 2 PM. It will be held in the parking lot of the Jewish Community Day School, 57 Stanley Avenue, rain or shine. Proof of residency must be provided. Textiles recycling is available at the Recycling Center
The Recycle Center is located at 76 Stanley Ave, and can be accessed on Green River Way. Please note that it’s one way in to the recycle center so you have to enter through Green River Way. Hours: Friday and Saturday 9am-4pm
The Town has partnered with Earth Machine (Norseman Plastics) to offer compost bins to residents at a discount.
Residents may pick up the compost bin at Public Works (with a 24 hour notice prior to pick up) for $40.00 cash, check or money order, no debit cards.
A family using an Earth Machine can divert over 500 lbs. of kitchen scraps and yard waste a year. Home composting with recycling and yard waste programs, can reduce your waste by up to 80%.
