*November 2025 SNAP Updates*
If a federal funding deal is not reached before November 1st, SNAP benefits may not be paid in the month of November. Additionally, the SNAP eligibility guidelines have changed and may impact recipients at their annual recertification period. Learn more about the changes to the SNAP program at Mass.gov/SNAPUpdates.
Public Benefits
SNAP: New applicants can still apply and current SNAP recipients should follow the typical recertification process. To apply online, visit DTAConnect.
HIP: The Healthy Incentives Program (HIP) provides free produce to SNAP recipients as long as funds (at least one penny!) are on your EBT card. To access these benefits, find your location HIP vendor.
At this time, WIC and school meals are not impacted by the federal shutdown.
